Bayern celebrate trophy win.

Bayern Munich are winners of the UEFA Super after a 2-1 win against Sevilla at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.

The win takes Flick's trophy haul to four in 38 games for Bayern ahead of next week's German Supercup.

Sevilla last won the trophy in 2006 and were looking forward to rewriting their name on the crown as Bayern's last time of claiming it was 2013.

The Germans started the game strongly and pressed overwhelmingly, determined to take the lead but later gave Sevilla the chance to settle comfortably.

12-minutes into the game, Rakitic was awarded a penalty for his side after Alaba fouled the former Barcelona man in the box.

Sevilla took the lead through Ocampos coolly. He slotted his penalty low to Neuer's right as the Bayern captain dived in the opposite direction.

Goretzka levelled the scores for the Germans 24 minutes. Müller received possession near the edge of the penalty area on the right and found Lewandowski with a wonderful pass hit with the outside of his foot.

The striker peeled away from his man with his back to goal and laid the ball into the path of the onrushing Goretzka, who slotted his finish into the far corner of Bounou's right-hand net from close range.

Bayern had some difficulty with Sevilla’s disciplined defensive lines as Müller and Lewandowski’s spurned a few chances.

The second half produced no goals with the Bavarians being wasteful. Sevilla kept the game alive with a gutsy display that prevented Bayern from converting their chances.

Substitute, Javi Martinez gave Bayern the lead within five minutes of being introduced in extra time. The Spaniards repelled a corner to the edge of the box, from slightly to the right of centre, Alaba controlled the ball on his chest and thumped in a shot that Bounou could only beat into the path of Javi Martínez, who powered a precise header beyond the keeper and into the right-hand corner of his net.

The Germans dominated the second half of extra time to continue their dominion in Europe.
