Three French Internationals Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele, and Clement Nicolas Laurent Lenglet who plays for Barcelona have been called into the National Team.

The Barca’s trio have all been called up to the France squad for this summer’s European Championship.

The erstwhile 1998 French icon who is now the manager of the French National Team has a name an incredibly strong squad for the tournament.

The head coach of the French National Team, Didier Deschamps has caused a stir by also calling up Karim Benzema whom he expelled from the National Team.

Karim Benzema has not played for his country since allegedly being involved in a sex tape blackmail plot involving former French teammate Mathieu Valbuena.

This is the first time in six years since 2015 that the 32-year-old Madrid striker has been called back to the National Team.

The Madrid forward also had a bit of a pop at Olivier Giroud fairly recently which also adds a bit more spice to his inclusion.

Antoine Griezmann is fourth on the list of France’s all-time goalscorers so it’s not a surprise at all to see him been included in the squad.

Ousmane Dembele earned a recall earlier this year into the France squad after overcoming his injury problems.

Clement Lenglet may be relieved to have received his call-up. The centre-back has endured a torrid time at Nou Camp this season and won’t feature in the team’s final game due to suspension after being sent off against Celta Vigo.
