Bandex Bread has established a new branch in the capital of the Ashanti Region, Kumasi.

The Nations ‘Baked Fresh Daily’ bread was launched on Monday, June 16, 2020, behind the Aboaso Tollbooth off the Tafo-Mampong Road in Kumasi.

Bandex Bread begun satisfying Ghanaians with appetizing loaves in the Greater Accra Region last year and the reputation built through quality service has earned them much admiration to set up an outlet in the Garden City.

Speaking to Soireenews, the General Manager, Francis Dzogbetsi also known as Nebu Ur' Majesty during the unveiling made known that the demand of people in the Ashanti Region inspired the company to start operation in Kumasi asserting that the reception by sellers and competitors has encouraged them to do more in the Region to feed hundreds and thousands of people through affordable services.

“Bread has been an important staple food product to many cultures over the centuries. Many people have been asking of our products across the country so the management thought it appropriate to open a branch in Kumasi to supply our customers,” he said.

“Bandex Bread is made for Ghanaians and there is the need to spread our outlets throughout the country but it takes time. We believe it’s a process and we will get there”, he added.

The Bread manufacturing site is just behind the Aboaso toll and per the slogan of the company, ‘Baked Fresh Daily’, buyers get to feel the freshness of the product when bought. The General Manager revealed that competitors at the location were stunned to discover production made at the very place where the bread is sold commending them for their inventiveness and branding in the bakery.

“We chose the toll because of the commerce surrounding such areas. This is also the entrance of the majority of cars plying through the Tafo Mampong road to long-journeyed locations.

“We have plans of opening another branch at the Offinso toll very soon,” he informed.

Talk of competition, the former movie producer informed that it is challenging yet since Bandex Bread is about fulfilling the interest of the people, that is what they are focused on doing.

“The competition in Kumasi is not easy at all. The people have accepted us and per comments after a few sales; they are in love with the product. We have achieved whatever we are seeking based on the remarks made by others and we are very happy,” he said.

“Our competitors have their strategies in selling theirs and since we are not here to challenge anyone but to create a market for ourself that is what we are aimed at. We would have stayed in the capital if it’s about contest. We believe in building the mark we have created hence the need to keep up with our branding in Kumasi if we need to be on top,” he ended.

The Brand Manager, Mr. Kofi Bamfo welcomed the reception of clients and encouraged Bandex Bread for essential growth, development, and repair of the body to everyone.

Bandex Bread is located at the Macedonia Bus Stop, Nsawam Road in the Greater Accra Region and in Kumasi, at Aboaso Tollbooth on the Tafo-Mampong Road.
