Bagbin forbids hanging Mahama's Portrait in his Office
Honourable Alban Bagbin

The Speaker of Parliament, Hon Alban Bagbin has denied hanging John Dramani Mahama's portrait in his office.

The Public Affairs Directorate of Parliament has issued a press statement on an alleged fabricated story against the speaker of parliament, Honourable Alban Bagbin.

According to the directorate, a publication that has faulted the Speaker of Parliament, Hon Alban Bagbin of hanging former President John Mahama's portrait in his Office is spurious, malicious and unsustainable.

They have dismissed any such allegations and have regarded the General public to treat it with the contempt it deserves.

“The attention of the office of the speaker of parliament has been drawn to publication circulating on social media under the heading ‘Bagbin causes stir by hanging Mahama’s portrait in his office instead of Nana Addo.”

“For purposes of emphasis, at no point in time has the portrait of ex-President John Dramani Mahama been hung in the office of the Rt. Honourable Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin.

“The publication in question is a fabrication, obviously intended to court hatred and spite for the Rt Honourable and create public disaffection for him.”
