The Volta Regional Minister, Honourable Archibald Yao Letsa has encouraged residents to patronise the flight to attract investors to bring other business opportunities.

The African World Airline is expected to land in the Ho airport to take its first test flight today.

Two weeks ago, the Transport Minister Honourable Kwaku Ofori Asiamah paid an official working visit to the Ho airport where he mentioned, in the second week in April after Easter, the African World Airline will commence its test flight in the Volta Region to begin the commercial operationalization of the Ho airport.

Speaking to Some residents in the Ho Municipality, they are of great expectations to see the first test flight today.

Touching on business, some indicated that, this will bring a lot of business development and opportunities to the people in the Region hence some youths will also get job opportunities.

Some said it will also limit the crime rate since the robbery on the roads will be limited.

Some concerned residents also appealed to government and other organizations to as a matter of urgency, start up some factories in the Region to attract other people.

This is because a lot of unknown people will be coming to the Region and security must be tightened.

Speaking to the Volta Regional Minister, Honourable Archibald Yao Letsa, advised the people of the Region to patronize the flight as this will attract the investors to bring other business opportunities.

According to him, the airline will work on Mondays and Fridays for now with the hope that people always travel to other places for weekends and return back to work on Mondays.

He, therefore, said, if people patronize it well, then it will be extended to the other weekdays.
