He made this known to the media general at a ceremony organized by Anglo-Gold Ashanti trust fund to present 1500 cedis cheques to 40 students who have qualified for this year's scholarship in Obuasi.

The programs manager for the AGA Obuasi community trust fund, Mr. Francis Amoah explains the rationale behind the grant.

He said the mine is poised to enhance education within the Adansi enclave hence the need for all to support the mine's aim to achieve the positive goal.

The mine is currently assisting 120 students to attain degree certificates.
