Assembly Member for Semanhyia Electoral area in the Asutifi North District of the Ahafo Region, Collins Atta Agyei a.k.a.' Adwumawura' on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, has replaced spoilt street bulbs and renovated deplorable access roads to harness transportation

The beneficial areas are the prisons quarters and behind the chief's palace.

Speaking to the media, the Assemblymember indicated that the project was funded by himself without the help of the District Assembly. Mr Atta Agyei noted that a good leader puts the needs of his subordinates first hence the gesture.

According to him, he sought approval from the chief of Kenyasi no.1 Nana Osei Kofi Abiri before carrying out the plan.  This, he believes, is a way of giving back to society and also making his people comfortable.

Touching on the replacement of the street bulbs, Mr Atta Agyei made known that he replaced 10 of them and is hopeful that security will be improved in the area especially at night. He however pledged to continuously prioritize the needs of his people and deliver as expected.

Some residents who spoke to the media commended the Assembly Member for the gesture and pledged their support for leadership.
