Ashanti region: Tanoso traders kicks against Relocation.
Ashanti region has vowed to resist a plan by the Assembly Member for the area to relocate them.
YAW OPOKU Traders who trade at Tanoso in the kwadaso municipality of the Ashanti region have vowed to resist a plan by the Assembly Member for the area to relocate.
According to the traders, the intended plan of relocating them by the assembly member for the Tanoso electoral area Honourable Kofi Kakari will be infertile.
Although, the decision to relocate the traders was announced by the Assembly Member in a quest to rebuild the Tanoso market yet the traders have vowed not to accept the assembly member's decision.
To them, the decision will affect their trading activities and the well-being of their respective families who are depending on them.
The Leader of the Traders Elder Ernest Amoako engaged the media and said until the proper arrangement is done, they will never locate anywhere.
He however asked the authority to rather engage the traders before taking any decision to avert misunderstanding between the authority and the traders.
Meanwhile, the honorable assembly member believes the step will rather help the traders hence the need to accept in good faith.
