Ashanti Region, Suame Youth Association Bear Teeth With The Government Over Neglect.
At a press conference organized today Wednesday, June, 6th 2022 at Suame Magazine, the Chairman of the group, Nana Owusu Ampofo Twumasi who was furious stated that Ashanti Region brought NPP into government, specifically President Akuffo Addo but there are no monumental developments in the Region which goes contrary to the sayings "to whom much is given, much is expected "

The Suame Youth Association in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region has bear teeth and displayed its displeasure over the government led by President Akuffo Addo due to the lack of monumental developments in the Ashanti Region.
At a press conference organized today Wednesday, June, 6th 2022 at Suame Magazine, the Chairman of the group, Nana Owusu Ampofo Twumasi who was furious stated that Ashanti Region brought NPP into government, specifically President Akuffo Addo but there are no monumental developments in the Region which goes contrary to the sayings "to whom much is given, much is expected "
He said the Youth Association through the press conference are calling on President Akuffo Addo to give Ashanti Region their fair share of the national cake as far as roads and other developmental projects are concerned.
They are irritated that, Boankra Inland Port, Anloga fly-over, Airport roundabout fly-over, Suame interchange, and other uncompleted projects, all have not seen the light of the day and have all turned into political rhetoric.
According to the irritate Youth, irrespective of hardship in the country, developmental projects are ongoing in the other Regions but Ashanti Region has lagged in terms of monumental developments.
They, therefore, called on the government and the Ashanti Regional Parliamentarians to speak for the region rather than to be quiet over the progress of the Ashanti Region.
