Asemblyman implores Government to renovate deplorable road

The Assemblymember for Maase Electoral Area in the Afigya Kwabre South of the Ashanti Region, Honourable Oteng Boakye Martin, has raised alarm on the poor nature of roads in his area.

Honourable Oteng Boakye Martin interacting with Soireenews Isaac Owusu affirmed that roads that link from Atimatim through to Maase to Meduma are all untarred and it heavily affects the vulnerable people in the community especially pregnant women, who face challenges in transporting a vehicle from one community to another. 

The Assemblymember laid emphasis that most pregnant women relocate to Pankrono to enable them to deliver their babies for fear of losing their unborn babies due to the bad nature of the road.

Bridges in the electoral area are about to collapse restricting the movement of people. 

According to Honourable Oteng Boakye Martin, a lot of promises were made to the resident during the 2020 general elections but all have proven futile.

He has therefore appealing to the government as matter of urgency to construct the road for the betterment of the people.
