Ghanaians have been urged to pray for the success of the Black Stars as they compete in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this week with the nation's all-time leading scorer, Asamoah Gyan.

He claims that enough has been said about the team and that it is now time for Ghanaians to stop talking and begin supporting the team in Qatar.

All Ghanaians are urged to support the team as they compete against the rest of the world this month and in December, according to Gyan, 37. The African player with the most goals at the FIFA World Cup is Gyan.

"Everyone has voiced their thoughts on the BLACK STARS. The 26-man squad has already left, so our current task is to provide support for the campers.

"If you have any remarks, hold off until after the tournament's opening game. But for now, let's pray for the team to perform, the all-time leading scorer for Ghana wrote on Twitter.
