Armed Robbers Rob Radio Pastor Presenter of Money for His Wife’s Funeral
Sources indicate, that a gang of Armed robbers has previously attacked and robbed traders within 2021 at a police abandoned checkpoint at Tease in the Afram Plains South District of the Eastern Region of Ghana.

A radio Pastor presenter of Afram FM in Tease, the District capital of Afram Plains South, in the Eastern Region has been robbed together with other passengers.
The incident took place at Asukese junction stretch of Tease to Fori- Fori road at about 7:00 am on Monday, July 26, 2021.
The robbers blocked the road to raid two commercial vehicles which the Radio Pastor presenter, Agyei Budu Nathan was on board, along with other passengers.
Agyei Budu Nathan the radio pastor presenter, and also a local resident, said the robbers succeeded in stealing his two mobile phones, and an amount of GHC 3,200.00 he has mobilized to organize a funeral for his dead wife at Akyem Osino.
Other victims also lost mobile phones, cash, and other personal belongings, adding that no suspect has since been arrested by the police.

A victim of Tease opined, that the incident of robbery has reoccurred many times at almost the same spot of the road due to the non-availability of phone network reception adding that drivers were stopped at the abandoned police checkpoint by the armed gang and robbed them of almost all their belongs.
She called for the District police command to deploy their men to check and prevent as well as to stop robbery attacks on traders and road users.
