A physically challenged farmer aged between 39 and 40 has met his untimely death after he was shot and killed by suspected armed robbers on his farm at Branam a farming community in the Wenchi Municipality of the Bono Region.
Narrating the story to Nana Anfreh Damanata of Radio West Africa by Mr. Benjamin Ander, the Unit Committee Chairman of Branam Electoral Area, said the incident happened at about 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, when the farmer has gone to investigate noises of gunshots around his farm.
Yaw Takwal now the deceased body has been deposited at the Wenchi Methodist hospital mortuary awaiting autopsy.
The case has been reported to the Wenchi Police.
Police have not commented on the incident yet as of the time of filing this report.
