'Anything Can Happen' - Guardiola Speaks On Leaving Man City To Take England Job
Pep Guardiola has won 18 trophies with Manchester City and many pundits believe could leave the club after remaining coy on his future - with the Spaniard now leaving the door open to taking the England job

Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has claimed "anything can happen" after being asked about taking the England job - saying he is still mulling over his future.
The Spaniard's current deal at the Etihad expires at the end of the season and he is yet to agree a contract extension. And the ex-Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss is one of the managers linked to taking with becoming the next Three Lions boss.
Gareth Southgate left the post after taking England to the Euro 2024 final this summer, where they were beaten 2-1 by Spain, with Lee Carsley since taking charge on an interim basis for the last three matches but yet to emerge as a favourite for the full-time role.
Guardiola has won 18 trophies with City and many pundits believe his time with the club could soon be coming to an end after remaining coy on his future - and he left the door open to a possible move to take on the English national team job.
"I haven't finished my career at Manchester City yet, I still have to think about it," he told Che Tempo Che Fa.
"It's not true that I'll be the England coach. I haven't decided anything yet, if I had decided my future at Manchester City I would say so, anything can happen in life."
Guardiola comments come after Carsley suggested England might need a " world class coach who has won trophies" - and Guardiola would certainly fit that category.
