The Member of Parliament (MP) for Anyaa- Sowutuom Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Dr. Adomako Kissi has organised a free health screening and blood donation exercise for thousands of people living in his constituency.

The massive medical health exercise was held at the Odorgonno Senior High School in Accra.
It is his many of annual in a series of free medical health screenings and outreach for all the constituents to mark the Christmas festive season and engage the good people of the constituency.
The beneficiaries were offered free medication and educated on the importance of living healthy lifestyles.

The residents were screened for various sickness and diseases such as cervical tests, prescriptions, fibroid, prostate cancer, spleen cancer, diseases which affect the liver, kidney, sugar levels in the blood, high blood pressure, HIV, heart related issues and other diseases including counselling and pharmaceutical services.  .
The event begun with thanksgiving and worship service by the women in the constitueny to celebrate the goodness and faithness of the Lord throughout the year.
This was followed by the health screening where attendees received various medical screening such as blood pressure check, malaria test, hepatitis B test, blood sugar test, eye screening, dental check, physiotherapy, and massage among others. 

 He made donation of laptops, bp apparatus and desktop to the health directorate.
The kids of the Constituency were not left out of this great occasion about 550 kids were treated to face painting, bouncy castles and drinks and snack packages, whiles being served with danceable tunes. 
The programme was deemed necessary as children having gone through a hectic year-round school activities, had the opportunity to socialize and be entertained whiles their parents or care givers received free medical attention. 
The event was partnered by the Deseret Hospital, the National Health Insurance Authority (NIA), the Anyaa Sowutuom Municipal Health Directorate and supported by Paradise Diagonistic Center, Velocity Salt lake city and Charity. The heads of these institutions were present and partook in the activities.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Adomako Kissi,
thanked the residents for coming out in their numbers to utilise the services that her outfit offered them.
According to the MP, he has provided free health screening and blood donation exercise to promote good health habits and to help prevent diseases including hypertension, diabetes, and other health complications.

According to him, the health screening was symbolic to appreciate the people of his constituency
He explained the importance of embarking on health screening during Christmas festive every year as to help in maintaining the need for living healthy lifestyles in the constituency.
 Dr. Adomako Kissi advised the people to be health conscious and take issues related to their health as their number one priority and periodically embark on check-ups to know their health status.
On her Part, the Ga Central Municipal Health Director, Dr. Esther Odame Asiedu also stressed the need for the people of frequently check-ups for their healthcare Screen delivery to help restore healthy lifestyles among the everybody in the Municipality.
The Blood bank Programme Officer at the National Blood Bank, Mr. Simon Obiri Mensah, commended the initiative by the Member of Parliament for organizing a blood donation to help stock the national blood bank, as a means of saving lives.
