The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore has been warned by thousands of the members and supporters including delegates of the NDC to stop working against the second term presidential bid of the former President John Dramani Mahama.

Mincing no words, the aggrieved NDC members led by one Stephen Kofi Adjei called on the national leadership of the NDC, NDC Council of Elders to, immediately call Mr Ashie Moore to order.

According to them, they have noticed a trend of an attempt of Mr Ashie Moore who doubles as the former Member of Parliament (MP) for the Adentan constituency in the name of JDM trying to lure constituencies to vote for same.

They warned that Mr Ashie Moore should understand that his action is rather causing disaffection for His Excellency JDM.

They rethorically asked that "Can someone ask Ashie Moore for me if GH¢2,000.00 can buy the conscience of over 1000 delegates in an entire constituency?

As a party, they mentioned that they "preached against the monetization of our beloved party and expect our leaders in high positions to set a good example for the rest to follow."

According to them, giving delegates money on the campaign platform of JDM is an act that needs to be condemned and never to be repeated in other constituencies in the Greater Accra Region.

"We will vote for JDM because Ghana is at a crossroads and we need a leader with a great vision. We will vote for JDM because we believe he is the only one who sends fear into the bones of the opposition NPP.

"We will vote for JDM because he has done it before. We will vote for JDM because Ghana needs him and NDC needs him.

"We love JDM and we will vote for him, not because of any inducement from anyone or even his other contenders," they stressed.

They pointed out that giving constituencies GH¢2,000.00 is an insult to delegates considering what JDM stands for.

They pointed out that JDM is of the opinion that financing political activities must come from the ordinary people and not a selected few who can control leaders after they have won power.

"And that is why he(JDM) launch the campaign for donations from everyone to support.

"So giving out money during JDM campaign contradicts his stand on financing political activities and Chairman Ashie Moore must be called to order immediately," they earned.
