'Annoh-Dompreh's Call For Alan-Bawumia Ticket In An Endorsement For Alan 2024'
A delegate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mrs. Alima Justice, has stated categorically that the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsawam-Adoagyiri Constituency of the Eastern Region, Honourable Frank Annoh-Dompreh's call for Mr. Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen and the sitting Vice President, Dr. Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia ticket is an open endorsement for the Trade and Industry Minister for NPP Presidential slot for 2024 general elections.

"I have thought deeply about the calls by the Bawumia-camp led by Honourable Annoh Dompreh, and my true conclusion is that the NPP members, in general, accept the fact that there cannot or should not be an NPP 2024 presidential ticket without Honourable Alan Kyerematen.
"That is very interesting and striking. For the first time in the history of the New Patriotic Party, there appears to be a silent conviction and an unspoken consensus that a particular presidential aspirant (Alan Kyerematen) is indispensable and must be on the ballot paper, at all cost," Mrs. Alima Justice.
She was speaking in an interview with Soireenews.com in Accra today.
According to her, the only point of departure is the choice of the second person to partner Mr. Kyerematen as running mate for the NPP to contest the 2024 general elections.
She pointed out that whilst the Alan-camp are confident that Mr. Kyerematen can convincingly win the 2024 general election with any running mate at all, the Bawumia-camp believes that H.E Bawumia can only go into 2024 elections with Alan Cash as a partner on the NPP ticket.
In all this, she indicated that observers keep asking why the Bawumia campaign team is not convinced that their candidate has what it takes to win the general election without Alan.
"Even though Dr. Bawumia has been on the NPP presidential ticket since 2008 when he was brought into the party, his supporters are not convinced that he has the magic to win 2024. We have been told again and again that Dr. Bawumia has a pool of potential running mates to choose from, namely; Hon Mathew Opoku Prempeh, Hon Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen, Hon Ayew Afriyie, Mr. Fred Oware, Mad. Akosua Frema Osei-Opare etc," she said.
"WHY THEN DO THEY THINK ALAN KYEREMATEN SHOULD BE CONSIDERED?" she asked.
Mrs. Alima Justice noted that they surely know what we know, that Hon Alan Kyerematen is peerless in COMPETENCE, CHARACTER, AND CHARISMA. Alan is the UNIFIER who can put NPP truly together for victory 2024 and put Ghana together for development, jobs, and prosperity. Alan is Ghana’s HOPE."
She suggested that the NPP only needs a contest to choose rather than a running mate for the globally acceptable candidate, Hon Alan Kyerematen.
In so doing, she stressed that the criteria should be very important so that we don’t choose a candidate who already carries a piece of baggage. The running mate to Alan Kyerematen must be a true red-white-blue party person who is credible, competent, honest, and can be trusted by the Ghanaian people.
She asked that "Does Dr. Bawumia qualify based on the above? My answer is NO!
