Seven suspects arrested in the Anlo Afiadenyigba robbery incident have been remanded into police custody by the Ho Circuit Court until 20 October 2021.

This was disclosed by the Volta Regional Police Commander, DCOP/Mr Edward Oduro Kwateng when he paid a visit to the victims and the Hon MP for Keta, Dzidzorli Kwame Gakpe.

The command, today on behalf of the IGP, visited the scene of the robbery at Anlo Afiadenyibgba to have first-hand information of the crime even though the Divisional and District commands have been actively involved with the investigation since its occurrence which led to the arrest of the ten earlier announced by the police.

The Regional Police Commander, DCOP Mr Oduro Kwateng extended the good wishes of the IGP and the Police Administration to the victims.

He indicated that the visit was also to commend the Anlo Afiadenyigba community for their timely support on the day of the incident which led to the arrest of the suspects.

He assured the victims and to a larger extent, members of the community of the Polices’ commitment to ensuring those arrested are made to face the full rigours of the law and encouraged them to form Neighborhood watch committees to complement the work of the local Police; by so doing strengthening Police -Public/Community partnership in the fight against crime.
