 Thousands of National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporters have gathered in front of the Regional Electoral Commission's Office in some parts of Ghana asking for the results to be officially declared in their favour.

Places such as the Northern and the Central Region have recorded scenes of protests against the EC officers after witnessing thousands of supporters troop to the Headquarters of the Electoral body in Accra.

The NDC supporters insist John Dramani Mahama has won the presidential elections following party executives accusation on theEC of manipulating the elections.

The security service have contained the angry supporters in Accra expressing their discontent at the way and manner the polls as organized threatening to reject the final declaration if it goes the way of the incumbent New Patriotic Party.

An exchange of press conferences occurred on Tuesday after the elections between the NDC and NPP, with each claiming to have won the polls.
