Yvonne Nelson has warned President Akufo-Addo on the silent build-up of anger towards his administration for his seemingly lackadaisical handling of the Ghanaian health sector.

The actress stated that Ghanaians are very aware that the politicians aren't interested in the welfare of the people and only go into leadership positions to enrich themselves.

She pointed to the health sector in particular that has been left to rot due to the unbothered nature of the administration.

“Our Health Sector isn’t their PRIORITY! Staying in power is! They run and leave the country when they get sick, don't ask why! They don't believe in the SYSTEM themselves. They don't TRUST doctors in their country.”

This she said in an upload on her social media page.

“@NAkufoAddo DO BETTER! The anger is building up. Our leaders have taken us (GHANAIANS) for GRANTED for too long!!!! @NAkufoAddo WE DEMAND A BETTER HEALTH SECTOR!!!”. She added.

This is not the first time that the actress cum producer has been critical of the current crop of politicians in the country.

She had earlier advised Ghanaians to stop being part foot soldiers for corrupt politicians who don't care about them during the protests of the 2020 elections.

According to her, both the previous and current governments are all corrupt, and they have been spending the country’s money anyhow, and so she sees it as unwise for anyone to be engaging in fights for them.

"One chopped Ghana’s money nyafu nyafu , the other is chopping it stylishly. They are all CHOPPING. Continue entering into fights for them. Your development money is in their pocket. Merry Christmas in advance" she said.
