I am committed to transforming our community: the newly installed Kumawu Dadease chief assures 

Nana Yaw Baafi, the newly installed chief of Kumawu Dadease in the Sekyere Kumawu District in the Ashanti Region has assured his commitment to ensuring a transformation in his community as far as development is concerned.

He made the pledge whiles reading his acceptance speech at his installation ceremony.
Nana Yaw Baafi in his acceptance speech commended the Traditional Council for the honor made him.

He called on everyone to support his leadership in the community to ensure development.
He is optimistic the installation has come at the right time when the community is struggling in terms of development.

He pledged to make everything possible to transform the community.

He finally called for peace and unity to prevail among the people together with the traditional authorities to move the town forward in terms of development.

The family head of the Oyoko royal family at Kumawu Dadease, Opanin Kwaku Nkansa led the installation ceremony outdoors Nana Yaw Baafi to the royal family emphasizing that he is now the chief of Kumawu Dadease.

"We chose you because with trust your capability and we know you are a  visionary spirit to bring total transformation to the people of Dadease", the family head stressed.

Opanin Kwaku Nkansa explained further that, after the long wait for Kumawu Dadease's chief, the traditional leaders of the Oyoko family called for a royal member to be enthroned and Nana Yaw Baafi was chosen to lead the town.
