Alhassan Huzeipha Wins Tamale Technical University TEIN President Position

Mr. Huzeipha Alhassan has been elected as the President of the Tertiary Educational Institutions Network (TEIN) of the Tamale Technical University.

TEIN is a student wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at the various Universities in the country.

The President-elect is an active grassroots marshal of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Tamale North Constituency.

He won the elections with a total vote of 164, against candidate Iddrisu Mohammed who polled 152 votes.

In a brief statement after the elections, Mr. Huzeipha thanked his campaign team members and supporters for a well-deserving job done during and after the internal elections.

"On behalf of Mohammed Sadiq Gombilla and the entire Team. I would want to thank each and everyone for taking time off their busy schedule to, in diverse ways, participate in the just ended TEIN elections at TaTU". 

He called on the Student body especially his co-contestants to join hands to make the NDC attractive on campus.

"This is not a victory for me and a defeat for some. This is a victory for the Great NDC".

He further appealed to Supporters of the party to assist in healing the current wounds of the opposition party.

"Every comrade in our institution knows the temptation that beset us in this trying moment of our party, let us start on to finish the work we are in, to bind up the party's wound. The Green TEIN project is taking the course, Join the movement". He noted.

He was optimistic that, the party firmness towards victory 2024 general elections shall match through terror to triumph.
