THE INCUMBENT Member of Parliament (MP) for Akwatia Constituency in the Eastern Region, Honourable Henry Boakye Yiadom who is seeking for re-election for his terms has demonstrated his commitment again to supporting education and wellbeing of the students by generously donating foodstuffs to the final year Senior High School (SHS) students who are currently writing their final year West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
Honourable Yiadom made the donations when he paid a courtesy call on the Senior High School (SHS) under his Jurisdiction to talk to the teachers and the final year students who are currently writing their final year West African Senior School Certificate Examination.
Preparing for his visit, knowing how the various schools are struggling to feed the students, his convoy carried along bags of rice, Galloons of cooking oil, Water, soft drinks, boxes of frozen chicken, and an undisclosed amount to the school leadership to prepare a sumptuous meal for the final year students to enable them to have a sound mind to write their final examination.
This is great news since SHSs are struggling to feed their students.
Honourable Yiadom's visit to these SHSs has provided support to the students and teachers and has also boosted their morale for the exams.
The donations of food and resources will surely help create a conducive environment for the Form 3 students. Such initiatives will have a positive impact on their overall well-being and exam performance.
