The NDC Akwatia MP has successfully completed the roofing of his ongoing construction of emergency unit block at the Ghana Consolidated Diamonds Limited Hospital
National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Akwatia Constituency in the Eastern Region, Honourable Henry Yiadom Boakye, has disclosed to Soireenews. com that the education and health of his constituents are his topmost priorities.

According to him, since he was elected as the MP in the area, he has instituted measures to ensure the promotion of quality healthcare and education for the people in his constituency.
Speaking in an interview with Soireenews. com on Thursday June 1, 2023, Mr. Boakye
disclosed that there ongoing construction and renovation of the health and education infrastructural facilities within some electoral areas in the constituency, saying that some projects of the health and education facilities were completed to be put to use by the constituents.

The Akwatia MP mentioned that he has successfully completed the roofing of his ongoing construction of emergency unit block at the Ghana Consolidated Diamonds Limited Hospital, which is a private primary hospital in Akwatia.
The hardworking MP told the Soireenews. com that this achievement is significant as it signifies partial completion of an essential health infrastructure project that will contribute to the improvement of quality healthcare services in the constituency.
By building the emergency unit block of GCD Hospital in Akwatia, Honourable Boakye noted that he has demonstrated a commitment to the well-being and health of the people in GCD communities,namely Anweaso,No4, Alafia, Mofrafadwene,camp etc
According to him, this development will likely enhance the capacity of GCD Hospital to respond efficiently to emergencies and provide high-quality care to patients.
He pointed that registered a total of 3,000 residents of the area onto the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) adding that over 650 of aged people were also registered onto the scheme by him,as a means of safeguarding the health needs of the people in his constituency.
The Akwatia MP said it was his topmost priority to ensure that health care was easily accessible and affordable to the constituents in order to ensure the socio-economic growth of the area.
The MP appealed to residents of the country to rally behind the NHIA to sustain the gains of the scheme and to continue its objec­tive of saving lives.
He implored citizens of Akwatia home and abroad, individuals, institutions and other stakeholders to con­tribute their widow’s mite to the health needs of residents saying that “together we can build.”
He thanked his constituents for reposing trust in him to serve for many years and promised to continuously facilitate massive development to the area, adding that Akwatia Constituency would be great and strong.
