Ghanaian celebrities have been divided after Akuapem Poloo uploaded her naked picture with her son on his birthday, with many condemning the act and a few showing support for it.

Legendary Ghanaian footballer, Asamoah Gyan has asked Ghanaians to stop misplacing their priorities and to start directing their sense at meaningful things. He asked why Ghanaians never show the same energy to persecute more serious matters.

This echoes the words of Efia Odo who also snapped at Ghanaians for always directing the wrong energy at the wrong things, prosecuting a woman and her child instead of looking for the real killers of Ahmed Suale and giving an account on how the over 100-grammes of suspected cocaine seized at Kpolglu border got missing.

Controversial Nigerian broadcaster, Daddy Freeze, has also defended her, maintaining that the actress has done nothing wrong with the photo. He even defended her with quotes from the bible. According to him, he also thought the photos were inappropriate till the Holy Spirit directed not, to some parts fo the bible.

Others like Nana Yirenkyi and Maurice Ampaw did not take it lightly with her, as Yirenkyi said that the actress is not fit to near the name "Akwiapim" which she is fondly called by her fans. She has threatened to take the proper means so the name can be stripped away from her. She ordered the actress to go naked without the name on her since she's hell bent on disgracing herself.

Maurice Ampaw, the legal practitioner, has provided reasons that the actress should be arrested. He stated that she could be jailed for 3 years for her improper behaviour towards her son.

"So we have a child, whose mother decided to go naked before the child, what is the mother doing? the mother is spoiling, debasing, and defiling the child. So Akuapem Poloo's conduct is not only condemnable, abhoring, it's very offensive. It is offensive to the public sensitivity and so there's no way she should not face the consequence of her actions."

"The punishment is that when they are found liable, they can be sentenced to 2-3 years, and they also be fined. They are all criminal offences." He explained.
