Ahafo Regional Minister visits Technology Solution center at Goaso

The Ahafo Regional Minister, Honourable George Boakye urged the staff to discharge their duties professionally in order to help develop the Ahafo Region.

The Ahafo Regional Minister, Honourable George Boakye paid a working visit to the Technology Solution Center at Goaso.

The visit provided an opportunity for him to familiarize himself with the staff and students of the institution as well as having for himself first-hand information about the operations and challenges of the School.

Honourable George Boakye whilst interacting with the staff and students pledged his full support for the school. 

He further assured them that he was going to collaborate with the Minister for Education and the Minister for Trade and Industry to ensure massive infrastructural development of the school. 

The Minister added that the school falls under his vision of ensuring a massive youth entrepreneurship training program which will be launched soon. However, enough trainees and equipment shall be assigned to the school. 

The Minister urged the staff to discharge their duties professionally in order to help develop the Ahafo Region. 

The Minister after inspection of the machinery that has been manufactured by the school such as palm oil machines, metal student beds, treasure, designed clothes etc commended the school for the great job done. 

The head of the School, EngineerJustice Darkwah on behalf of the staff and students expressed gratitude to the Minister for the historic visit. 

Engineer Justice Darkwah applauded the Minister for his vision of collaboration with the Ministry, MMDAs and other stakeholders to train the youth in Ahafo Region with vocational skills. 

He, therefore, appealed to the Minister to assist them to deal with some of their challenges as has already been promised. 

The school has trained about 120 students who have passed both the NVTI and NAPTEX examinations and currently training over 70 students.
