The Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Benito Owusu Bio, has inaugurated the reconstituted lands commissions for the Ahafo regions, with a call on members to put in place measures to ensure that land is registered.

He tasked the members of the regional lands commissions to be conversant with the new Lands Act, 2020 (Act 1036).

"This can only be achieved if all the stakeholders are conversant and understood what the law required of them. Education on this law in the regions should be a priority," he stated.

Mr Benito Owusu Bio, who is also the Member of Parliament (MP) for Atwima Nwabiagya in the Ashanti, inaugurated the lands commissions for the Ahafo Region held in Goaso.
