Ahafo Region Minister console Rejoice fm Management

The Ahafo RegionAL Minister, Honourable George Yaw Boakye has expressed his condolences to Rejoice FM Management and Workers affected by Wednesday fire outbreak at the station.

He urged management to exercise restraint as investigations into the disaster and the extent of damage are carried out.

The Minister also congratulated personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service, security agencies and all those who helped to bring the fire under control.

Honourable George Yaw Boakye was joined by the Chief Director of the Ahafo Regional Coordinating Council, Mr Ebenezer Amoah, Deputy Regional Police Commander ACP Andrews Boadu Ekumah, Municipal Chief Executive Honourable Yaw Osei Boahen and Heads of the various departments at the Regional Coordinating Council.

It would be recalled that a fire gutted the Office Rejoice FM last Wednesday which resulted in the destruction of properties worth millions of cedis although there was no loss of life. The cause of the fire is still not known at the time of filing the report.
