The Ahafo Regional Minister, Mr George Boakye appeals to the Principal of the Tanoso Nursing and midwifery Training College to admit native brilliant but needy students to augment the current human resources of the region.

The Ahafo Regional Minister, Mr George Boakye has commissioned a 100-bed girls Dormitory at Tanoso Nursing and midwifery Training College at Tanoso in the Tano North Municipality in the region

 At the Ceremony on the School premises, Honourable George Boakye applauded the Municipal Chief Executive for Tano North, Honourable Ernest Kwarteng for such a timely project.

He advised the School's administration to adopt the strategy of periodic maintenance since it was the surest way to ensure the sustainability of all projects in the School.

He appealed to the Principal of the College and her other compatriots in the Region to help him actualize his vision to ensure massive youth development in the Ahafo Region by admitting five native brilliant but needy students to augment the current human resources of the region.

The Minister envisioned that the agenda 111 hospital projects that have begun will create more sustainable jobs for the health sector especially the current students and therefore, there was the need for all well-meaning Ghanaians to support this great investment. 

Honourable George Boakye urged the student nurses to ensure that they stay in the Ahafo Region to help deliver quality health care in the Region.

The Minister was accompanied by the Regional Director of Health, Dr Boakye Kwabena Boateng, Municipal Chief Executive for Tano North, Honourable Ernest Kwarteng, and the Tano North Municipal Director of Health
