The Chiefs and People of New Sawereso (Seniua), a farming community in Asunafo South District of Ahafo Region are calling on the government to fix the deplorable Asumura-Seinua and Nakete -Seinua road.

The Sanaahene of Kukuom Traditional Council who is also Chief Seinua, Nana Agyemang Duah Katakyie II, told journalists that the deplorable roads in the area affect the transportation of the sick, pregnant women and foodstuffs to the nearest hospital or market centers.

 “Vehicles carrying our cocoa beans get stuck on the muddy road. Foodstuffs also get rotten because drivers drop off passengers in the middle of their journey to Seinua when it rain” he laments.
