The Concerned Youth of the NDC in the Bono region's Sunyani West Constituency has urged the Regional and National Executives to permit any qualified Persons to run for any position in the upcoming Constituency Elections.

The youngsters who protested outside the party officials have accused the regional elections committee of seeking to keep the old constituency executive board members rather than holding fresh elections.

This was discovered when Boateng Augustine Kwame, a candidate for the chairmanship, turned in his paperwork while the office was closed for renovations at around noon.

The Regional Elections Committee allegedly opposes holding the elections, according to the worried youth.

The NDC's National Executives were urged to step in and ensure free, fair, and transparent elections in the constituency by some of the group's irate members.

Mr. Boateng Augustine Kwame, a contender for the NDC chairmanship, has urged delegates to support candidates who put in a lot of effort to win in 2024.

He stated that for all party members to be saved from the "bad performance of the Npp," the NDC's triumph in the general elections of 2024 should be paramount.

He stated that his goal was to unite and strengthen the NDC in the constituency and mobilize its members' efforts for the party's expansion.
