Afigya Kwabre North NDC PC Jackson Agumah And Partiners Donate Medical Equipment To Kwaman Health Centre To Improve Healthcare Services

National Democratic Congress Parliamentary Candidate for Afigya Kwabre North Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Mr Emmanuel Jackson Agumah, together with his partners from Canada and Rotary Club of Cornrall Sunrise donated several modern medical equipment to Kwaman Health Centre, with a call on the eligible voters to vote for him to win the seat for the NDC in the 2024 polls in order to improve healthcare services and other human needs in the area.

The current donation of items were the fourth times Mr. Agumah and Rotary Club of Cornwall Sunrise have made to Kwaman Health Centre.

The current items are made up of hospital beds, mattresses, medical examination beds, walkers, clutches, examination gloves, safety and disposal gowns, syringes, safety containers etc.

Presenting the equipment at the premises of the Kwaman Health Centre a couple of days ago, Mr  Agumah said although he was not elected the MP of the area, he was concerned about the health status of his constituents who should have quality healthcare delivery, which could only be done with up-to-date medical equipment, hence the donation.

He indicated that he personally lobbied for the items and appealed to all and sundry, especially those with the means to do likewise, since the government alone could not shoulder that responsibility.

The NDC PC said the health needs of the people was paramount, hence the gesture to support the facilities and further extended his profound appreciation to his partners from Canada and Rotary Club of Cornrall Sunrise and all those who made the donation possible.

He therefore promised his continuous support for the facilities and called on health workers to be passionate about their work while ensuring good relationships with patients.

"I am a grassroot citizen of the area and I will ensure that the Kwaman Health Centre gets all the necessary equipment to enable the facility to function appropriately," Mr Agumah stated.

He expressed the hope that with the equipment available, that facility would function well without any hindrance.

For their part, The management of the facility, who were excited about the gesture, commended the NDC PC and his partners for such assistance.

They assured the NDC PC and his partners the items would be taken good care of and that it would also be put to good use.

The management called on non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and other well-to-do Ghanaians in the area to emulate the good example of NDC PC to assist the health facility for the benefit of patients.

Articulating on his parliamentary ambition, Mr Agumah, therefore urged eligible voters to consider voting massively for him when they go to the polls on Saturday December 7, 2024.

Mr Agumah who has been described as a  development oriented leader, stresed the need
for the voters in the constituency to re-consider their traditional support for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) claiming thatcsuch pattern has hindered socio-economic development in the constituency.

He stated that it is a high for the voters to try the NDC PC like him to end the Albert Kan-Dapaaa's family electoral dynasty system in Afigya Kwabre North Constituency.

According to him, the Afigya Kwabre North Constituency parliamentary seat had been in
one family hand since 1992, clarifying that the current MP of the area is Albert Kan-Dapaah's nephew, Honourable Adomako-Mensah Collins.

Mr Agumah pointed out that there have been political record that snce 1992 till date the NDC has never won the Afigya Kwabre North parliamentary seat.

But, he was quick to give assurance that "by the grace of God "l hope that with the determination, dedication and hard work, l am is going to win the parliamentary seat in the area for the NDC in the 2024 general election."

He reiterated that "l am working hard with the chiefs and people including suppoters and members of the NDC in the various communities within the constituency to ensure that l break that political records in the area."

"I am winning the hearts of the people, particularly the eligible electorates in the area because they have realised that l have done a lot of projects to improve the lives of people in the constituency, although l was not elected the MP of the area," the NDC PC noted.

He indicated that majority of the people in
the constituency have publicly endorsed his parliamentary bid and that they have declared publicly that they want to end the Albert Kan-Dapaaa's family dynasty system.

He said the successive NPP MPs, particularly the current MP, according to the constituents, have completely failed them and that the constituents are saying that they are clamouring to vote for someone who has worked so hard to improve the lives of the people.

"So the people are saying that they are looking to vote for a good person who may not come from the Albert Kan-Dapaah's family to win the seat in 2024 to represent them in Parliament. That was what most of the people in the area are saying. So l think  that l am the only person to take that mantra because l have what it takes to transform the lives of the constituents," the NDC PC noted.

He pointed out that Honourable Albert Kan-Dapaah was an MP for the past sixteen (16) years, saying that Honourable Albert Kan-Dapaah went to bring his friend who aslo won the seat for the two terms.

"After his friend's second terms, Honourable Albert Kan-Dapaah kicked him out and brought his own nephew in the person of Adomako-Mensah Collins but in the name Allah l am going to win the seat from Honourable Adomako-Mensah Collins," the NDC PC assured.

On his electoral chances, Mr Agumah noted that in the 2020 general election, he was able to poll out a very impressive votes, adding that "If you look at the electoral results l have took it from 24 percent in 2016 to 34.5 percent in the 2020 general elections."
