They lamented that blood-sucking insects have infested the beds of boarding students of Adidome Senior High School rendering hundreds of students useless to sleep in.

Authorities of the Adidome Senior High School (SHS) in the Central Tongu District of the Volta Region were reported to have delibetely turned their deaf ears on the massive invasion of the beds of the boarding students of the school by blood-sucking insects called bed bugs.
 
According to the hundreds students living in domentories of the school, the attention of the authorities were drawn to the situation but their several requests made to the authorities to fumigate the beds to kill the bedbugs had fallen on their deaf ears.
They lamented that blood-sucking insects have infested the beds of boarding students of Adidome Senior High School rendering hundreds of students useless to sleep in. 
The situation, according to information available to DAILY Analyst has driven the affected boarding students from their dormitories since the authorities of the school have turned their deaf ears on the situation.
Some of affected students who spoke to this news online news outlet on the condition of anonymity lamented that the bed bug influx of their dormitories is another headache that students in the school are battling.
According to the students, some of them have to sleep on the floor in the dormitory because of lack of space and that is already an inconvenience.
They pointed out that the school authorities were finding it extremely difficult managing the situation which was affecting health and sleeping.
But to add to that, “there are some insects call bedbugs and they worry us a lot which disturbs our sleep at night and makes us very uncomfortable,” they lamented.
They indicated they had complained to the influx of the bed bugs to their school authorities and pleaded with them to instruct the Central Tongu District Coordinating Director to fumigate their dormitories of the school but nothing has been done yet.
