Adeiso Chiefs Tell Akufo-Addo To Axe Upper West Akim DCE
Mr. Eugene Sackey

The call for the re-appointment of the Upper West Akim District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr. Eugene Sackey has been widely rejected by Chiefs and Elders of the Adeiso Traditional Area.

According to them the DCE has woefully failed to deliver to the expectation of the people and has made Akufo-Addo’s government unpopular due to his incompetence.

Addressing a press conference in  Asuokaw Palace at Adeiso, the Asikasuhene, Barimah Boakye Yiadom ll noted that the Upper West Akim has turned to an orphan district since the appointment of Mr. Sackey as the DCE.

He said the district had become stunted and retarded in development via an incompetent, visionless, disrespectful, and arrogant political ruler (DCE).

Barimah Yiadom ll maintained that any extension of the DCE tenure would not only be regrettable but a misfortune on the part of residents.

In this vein, the chiefs have made a clarion call on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to sack their underperformed arrogant DCE from office.
