Adeiso Car Crash: one dead, Pregnant Woman in critical condition, over 25 Injured
Pregnant woman including 25 others were injured in multiple vehicular crashes at Adeiso.

A piece of confirmed information from Adeiso, in the Upper West Akim District, indicates that one person has been confirmed dead while over 25 others including a pregnant woman are injured in multiple vehicular crashes at Adeiso main station in the Eastern region of Ghana.
The source said a pregnant woman, two others were in critical conditions and subsequently referred to Nsawam Government Hospital for emergency care.
The rest of the victims were receiving treatment at Adeiso Health Center.
The crashes occurred on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at about 4:00 pm when a Kia Rhino Truck transporting Sachet water failed off its breaks while descending towards the main township of Adeiso.
The truck crashed three vehicles and several motorbikes parked at the roadside.
The impact forced one of the vehicles to crash a shop killing a female occupant at the spot.
A victim narrated his ordeal to the media, "I am Okada rider. I had parked my motorbike and was standing beside a vehicle. All that I heard was a bang then I fell into the gutter. Then I saw other cars being crashed together with motorbikes all the riders started running away except one rider who was crashed in the leg ”.
