Ade Coker Outlines Key Campaign Messages To NDC Delegates & Faithfuls
Mr Joseph Kobina Ade Coker
"Voting for me means no Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) will be appointed outside the constituency executive committee. Everybody knows your closeness with former President John Dramani Mahama, former Chief of Staff, Mr Julius Debrah, Advisor to former President John Dramani Mahama,  Dr Valerie Esther Sawyerr and NDC apparatchiks. I will serve your interest better than anybody’s else."
These above statements were made to the delegates and members of the NDC by the
incumbent Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Joseph Kobina Ade-Coker, who is seeking for re-election.
In this sense, Mr Coker who is number two on the ballot paper called on the delegates and members of the NDC to rally behind him by way of voting massively for him to win the chairmanship position again to help bring back the NDC to political power in 2025.
Addressing the party faithfuls in the atmosphere of jubilation in Ablekuma West Constituency on Monday October 31, 2022 when he visited the area, Mr Coker outlined
his plans in a six bulleting points that he intends to accomplish when re-elected to lead the NDC as the Greater Accra Regional Chairman.
With barely few weeks to the NDC regional executives election, Mr. Ade-Coker who is confident of retaining his chairmanship position has chosen to visit the Ablekuma West on Monday October 31, 2022 because the constituency is his home grown area.
The NDC stalwart who is number two on the ballot paper used the visit to briefly launch his campaign to seek for re-election and also outlined his key major messages to delegates and members of the NDC who would be voting in the upcoming NDC regional executives election.
Mr. Ade-Coker further used the event to interact with party delegates, members and supporters and solicit for their blessings and support to vote massively for him to retain his chairmanship position.
Articulating on his reasons for seeking re-election, Mr Coker told the the NDC faithfuls that "As a election winning machine, I mainly coming to help secure John Dramani Mahama/NDC 2024 victory particularly; to increase the presidential votes and increase 20 Member of Parliament (MP) seats from 20 to 25.
"When given the nod, l would work hard for the NDC to wrestle Amasaman, Tema West, Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfrom, Ayawaso Central and  Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seats from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general elections, he reaffirmed.
He indicated that when he is elected he would establish election protection and support fund purposely for election 2024 because that election is a Do or "Die One or affair."

He pointed out that there is no need for the delegates and members of the NDC who would be voting in the incoming NDC internal regional executives election to change a winning team.
"Under my leadership, the Regional Executive Committee has delivered and therefore we ought to be rewarded," he stated.
Mr Coker stressed that the 2024 general election cannot be for try me, explaining that  a new person will take about three years to settle but we have just about two years, asking "Why would you want to change the strategic commander."
He reassured that he would work hard to unite the region and ensure that there is no more father for all in the region.
He stressed that he would implement a number of reforms that would encourage participation and promote welfare of the members of the party.
Additionally, he pledged that "I would also work to promote the transparency, unity, peace and accountability within the party and ensure that l would return the NDC to power 2025 if re-elected for the position."
Against this background, the NDC stalwart called on the delegates and members of the NDC to vote massively for him in the internal NDC regional executives election to retain the seat to help bring the former President John Dramani Mahama to the political power in the 2024 general elections.
Mr. Coker promised to continue to serve with a clear direction, focused vision, mission and an innovative bottom to top management approach when given the node.
He maintained that his desire to contest for the Greater Accra Regional chairmanship was due to the need to help in the winning of the 2024 general election and to propel former President John Dramani Mahama to the Presidency.
According to Mr Coker, "This is the desire of the floating voters and the good people of Ghana, adding that it is a calling from the party that I cannot ignore."
According to the NDC top shot, he has more experience than other prospective candidates on account of his third term experience as the regional chairman of the NDC.
He mentioned that the delegates and members of the NDC should endorsed him by voting for him to win the seat because they are clear evidence that he has been instituting plans or strategies to mobilize resources effectively to improve the general well welfares of the members and supporters of the NDC in the grassroot levels in the region.
