Activist Cautions NPP Loyal Grassroot Members To Ignore Selfish And Greedy Politicians 

New Patriotic Party (NPP) Activist in the Ejisu Constituency of the Ashanti Region, Mr Solomon Osei-Mainoo popularly known as Abi Solo, has sounded a strong word of caution to the loyal grassroot members and supporters of the NPP to ignore all ths greedy, selfish and wicked politicians in the leadership positions.

He entreated grassroot supporters and members of the NPP to ignore all these very selfish, greedy and wicked characters/politicians who would use them during a political campaign season and dump them after the season.

According to him, the grassroot supporters and members of the NPP should not be easily swayed by sweet words and deceptive handshakes by the politicians.

He pointed out that the grassroot supporters and members are the true engine of the party, the foundation upon which political power stands. 

"And yet, time and again, we are used, ignored, and discarded. The same hand that once begged for our support now signs decrees that neglect our welfare.

"Some of our own brothers and sisters now sit in high places because we trusted them. But what do we see today?, the NPP young outspoken politician expressed disappointment in a press statement copied to Soireenews.com.

According to him, in the heat of campaign seasons, these strategic politicians smile wide, walk among us, dance to our tunes, and promise the heavens.

He stated these politicians speak our language, eat our food, and kneel for our votes . 

"Yet, when the dust settles and the mandate is secured by these politicians, they vanish into the comfort of power—far from the very people who lifted them there.

"To the grassroots , this is a word of caution: let us not be easily swayed by sweet words and deceptive handshakes.Disregard, disrespect, and deep betrayal. They no longer return to the base," he stressed.

He indicated that they are too big to walk our paths or listen to our pain, addingthat.They have forgotten that without the base, there is no peak.

"Let us be watchful . Let us hold our leaders accountable . No more blind loyalty. Let our support be based on performance, humility, and respect. 

"If you cannot remember us in power, you don’t deserve our sweat in opposition.

"The youth who sacrifice time and energy for rallies, the women who cook, the elderly who stand in the sun just to vote—these are the real champions. We must begin to value our own contribution and demand what is due us," he  narrated 

He stresed that "As we look ahead, may we not be moved by empty promises, but by a genuine track record of service to the people.

According to him, politics must return to its original meaning: service, not self-enrichment
 Let us not be mere spectators anymore.

He further stressed that the time to speak up, organize, and insist on accountability is now.
