Evangelist Diana Asamoah claims that H.E. Nana Addo is not to blame for Ghana's current problems.

The NPP supporter and gospel artist asserts that the Bible prophesies the current economic disaster in Ghana and around the world.

"2 Timothy 3:1–5 bravely captures the current hardship in Ghana. It indicates that when things are tough, people would seek out wealth, she said.

"Those who lack love will populate the globe. Because the word of God must be fulfilled, we must focus on the Bible in every circumstance of our lives, she continued.

She said, "No one can make the world a better place; it is the doing of God's word...," in an interview with GhanaWeb. It is the word, not the administration or the NPP, Diana Asamoah insisted.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 as quoted by Diana Asamoah in the Bible reads: “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.”

Diana Asamoah affirmed that she has no regrets about endorsing the NPP in the election.

This comes after a number of well-known people, including Prince David Osei and Afia Schwarzenegger, publicly criticized the Nana Addo-led NPP administration for its poor performance and declared they would not support the party in the 2020 election.
