An assistant Lecturer at the Sunyani Technical University in the Bono region, Sir Johnson Anane wants the Supreme Court to abolish the teaching of scientific theories on creation in the basic schools of the country as it discredits the works of God.

This comes after the lecturer has petitioned the Supreme Court to rule in his favour that man was created by God and not as thought by scientific fiction which has no basis but seems to denigrate the works of God.

Speaking in an interview with Soiree News Nana Ama Asiedu; Sir Johnson Anane stressed that, such scientific theories on creation that are being taught in schools does not only belittle the works of God but also impart false teaching into the upbringing of those children which at the end paints a different picture about God to them, unlike the biblical teachings.

He expressed the belief that the right teaching from the bible on creation must be taught in schools than the theories which are only based on research without proof or basis anywhere in the world.

He stated that such theories are made compulsory in the teachings in schools therefore wants the court to abolish them for students in the country, especially at the basic level to know the true picture of who God is.
