Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu, Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has called on the Sports committee of Parliament to expedite action into the Black Star's poor performance at the just ended Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Cameron.

According to him, the cause of Ghana's poor showings at the African competition is worth investigating and he said the committee report should have been completed before the play-off with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

He however bemoaned the delay and urged the committee to speed up the processes to unravel what caused Ghana's poor showing at the African Cup of Nations.

He commended the Speaker of Parliament (Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Rt Honourable Joseph Osei-Owusu for rallying support for the Senior National Team at the floor of Parliament.

The Majority Chief Whip and MP for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, Honourable Frank Annoh- Dompreh recalled that the inquiry on the Black Star's poor showings was agreed upon by the House to first present the report at plenary.
