A man was remanded after acid bathing a 19-year-old baby mom.

Francis Ennin nicknamed Fiifi, 25has been placed in police detention for two weeks by the Bibiani Circuit Court in the Western North Region for allegedly soaking his baby mom in acid at Sehwi Bokabo.

Benjamin Owusu Agyemang, the prosecutor, told the court that the suspect had two children with the victim, Mary Owusu, who is 19 years old.

He has, however, failed to fulfill his fatherly responsibilities, and Mary's family has advised him to keep away from her and the children.

Fiifi was not pleased with the decision and washed his baby mama in acid as a result.

After hearing the facts of the case, the court presided over by His Honour Joshua Caleb Abaido, remanded the suspect.
