Asamoah Gyan has expressed interest in becoming a politician when he retires from football.

The Ghanaian legend will consider a career in politics when he finally hang his boot from the game saying he already discussed it with his team of advisers.

The NorthEast United FC attacker believes he will excel in that sector but will take the final decision when he retires.

Gyan revealed that several people in Ghana have asked him to join politics and use his image and influence in full effect.

Gyan has scored 51 goals in 109 appearances for the Black Stars and he is the countrys all-time top scorer.
