A Grammy Award should not judge African Success - Mugeez
Mugeez

Ghanaian artiste, Mugeez, has said that the Grammy Awards should not be used a yardstick to judge African music.

This comes after internationally recognised artiste and Grammy Award winner, Wiyaala, said that her greatest achievement as an African musician is not the Grammy that she has won.

Mugeez, who is a Member of award-winning music group R2Bees, echoed this by saying that although the Grammy Awards is a prestigious award that every African artiste would like to get, it should not be used to judge the success of an African artiste as it is incapable of accurately profiling the depth of African music majorly because it's an international award.

He uploaded a picture with the text "“For the last time Grammy no fit judge African Music.” on his Instagram page.
