A decision on ex-Guinea PM's bail is expected soon in the case of alleged corruption.

On Tuesday, a Guinean court will decide whether a former prime minister and three ex-cabinet members accused of economic crimes will be released on bond.

On April 6, Ibrahima Fofana and several top officials from President Alpha Condé's deposed cabinet were arrested on charges of embezzling state monies.

Mr. Fofana was Prime Minister from 2018 till September when President Condé was deposed by the military.

Former Defense Minister Mohamed Diane, former Environment Minister Oye Guilavogui, and former Hydrocarbons Minister Diakaria Koulibaly are all being jailed at Conakry's major prison.
