A 45-Year-Old Man Drawn in a Tano River at Nsawura.

Speaking to the Assemblyman of Nsawura Electoral Area, Honourable Emmanuel Adu Amankra said, it was Thursday at midnight when two people came to his house and inform him that, their brother has left the house and have call his wife to inform her that she shouldn't need to worry about anything she will hear about him but must take care of the children.

A 45-year-old man Philip Asante who is a driver of the Regional Co-ordinating council has allegedly drawn in a river Tano at Nsawura in the Akontombra Constituency in the Western North Region.

Madam Christina Asante the wife of the deceased said that his husband informed her that he was going for a nature call.

A few minutes later, the deceased husband calls her and informs her that, he is not returning home any more so she should take care of the children for him.

The wife said, after the husband called, she called him back to find out why he told her that but the husband did not pick up her call and only to find out he has drawn in the river.

She siad they search for him yesterday in the community and were able to find him drawn in the river near the community.

The Assemblyman said they mounted a search party around the area in which he told his wife he was going to visit the nature's call but they couldn't find him.

He said a complaint was lodged to the Nsawura police about the situation.

The Assemblyman said, the police organised the youth in the area to search for the deceased for two days which is Friday and Saturday but the deceased was able to find lying in the river, Tano.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue for autopsy while an investigation continues by the police.
