See EC's Pink sheets for Ghana's Presidential Election

The Electoral Commission (EC) has released the summary results sheets used to collate the results of the just-ended 2020 presidential elections.

Popularly known as p'ink sheets', the official documents released by the EC show the total number of votes each presidential candidate garnered in the December 7 general election.

Based on the numbers stated on the pink sheets, the Returning Officer, Jean Mensa announced the New Patriotic Party’s Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the winner of the elections.

Meanwhile, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said there are disparities between the Electoral Commission's declared results of the presidential elections, and what actually transpired at the polling stations.

The General Secretary of NDC, Asiedu Nketia says the party is ready with their pink sheets to prove their assertions.

Addressing the media at their headquarters in Adabraka, Asiedu Nketia alleged that the EC have manufactured figures to declare the presidential race in favour of the NPP candidate Akufo-Addo.
