EC to Confirm Sene West Election Results Soon
The EC specified in a report issued on Monday, December 14, 2020, that it will soon bring the finalized results of who won the Sene West constituency seat.

The Electoral commission has assured the general public that it will soon complete the result of Sene West parliamentary elections.
Sene West is Located in the Bono East Region, and is the only constituency whose results has still not been publicized.
The EC specified in a report issued on Monday, December 14, 2020, that it will soon bring the finalized results of who won the Sene West constituency seat.

“The Sene West parliamentary election is yet to be finalized and the outcome declared. The Commission assures the General Public that it is working to finalize the issues regarding the Sene West Constituency to enable the transparent, fair credible, and peaceful conclusion of the process. We expect to bring finality to this issue within the shortest possible time”, the statement noted.
The results for the parliamentary elections has so far seen The National Patriotic Party(NPP) win 137 seats putting the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in opposition after they won 136 seats. There was also an independent candidate who won the Fomena seat.
The EC says it is aware of the fight for some parliamentary seats by both NPP and the NDC in several constituencies but the Electoral Commission has affirmed that it “entreats the political parties to use the laid down processes established by law to seek redress to their concerns” as said by salt media.
