800 Vulnerable Persons In Three  Communities In Bibiani Anhwianso  Bekwai Benefits From NHIS Cards

The Bibiani Anhwianso Bekwai Municipal Health Insurance Scheme, has registered over 800 vulnerable people in three communities namely Sefwi Awaso, Asempanaye and Atronsu, all in the Bibiani Anhwianso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region for free of charge.

The Bibiani Anhwianso Bekwai Municipal Health Insurance Scheme, has registered over 800 vulnerable people in three communities namely Sefwi Awaso, Asempanaye and Atronsu, all in the Bibiani Anhwianso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region for free of charge.
The bearing of the NHIS cards of these personalities from these three communities would enable them seek for medical treatment whenever they decide to attend to the hospital.
The Bibiani Anhwianso Bekwai Municipal Health Insurance Manager, Mr.Gabriel Nketiah stated that there were a lot of complaints and agitation confronting the residents of the three communities with their NHIS cards and how to link their Ghana cards.
"So therefore, it was necessary to organize the communities to educate them and address their concerns to the appropriate channel whenever they attend to the health centre for proper treatment, and the vulnerable people whose names were given to social welfare department to seek for their needs, were all registered for the NHIS cards," he added.
On behalf of Nananom of Sefwi Awaso, the chief linguist, Okyeame Kwadwo Oppong expressed their emotional concern to the timely response and the sensitization of how the National Health Insurance covered some particular drugs when they try to attend to the health centre for healthcare delivery.
The Beneficiaries from the three the Awaso, Asempanaye and Atronsu which are beneficiary communities expressed their gratitude to the government and the staff of NHIS for the service rendered to them.
