The Koforidua Police Command has managed to arrest three suspects, believed to be part of a dreadful criminal gang terrorising residents in and around the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua.

Information gathered by Soiree News indicates, that the suspects were smoked out at their hideout at Waterworks, in the New Juaben South Municipality, Koforidua, in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

According to Regional Police Command, items retrieved include a pump Actions gun and a single barrel gun.

They narrated that the leader of the gang, Kofi Emmanuel, popularly known as Survival, and other members managed to escape for the arrest and are currently at large.

The gang has been menacing in Betom and Srodae, and sometimes move to operate outside Koforidua township, the source made known.

It is believed that the gang has in their possession firearms, explosions, and ammunition.

They have been linked to many crimes perpetrated in and around Koforidua.
