29-Year-Old Girl Appeals For Support to Raise GH¢60,000 for Waist Surgery

A 29-year-old girl, Perpetual Eka has made a passionate appeal to corporate institutions, philanthropists, and individuals to urgently consider donating an amount of GH¢ 60, 000.00 for her to undergo emergency surgery on her waist body.

Perpetual Eka has been diagnosed with waist deformity disease. This generally means that all the bones in her waist body have been completely destroyed.

She is to undergo emergency surgery at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital at a cost of GH¢ 60,000.00 to replace the bones to survive.

The girl who has no parents has not been able to raise the said amount.

Her health condition has affected her job with the biscuits producing company, as she has been rendered inactive.

Narrating her sad story in an interview with Soireenews, the visibly distraught girl appealed to benevolent individuals to help her raise the amount in time for the surgery.

“I have been advised by doctors to make the surgery urgent as there is no time to waste. I am appealing to all well-meaning Ghanaians to help me. My life depends on this,” Perpetual Eka bemoaned.

She lamented that one day when she was at work, she just encountered severe pains in her waist body as if something has injected her.

According to Perpetual Eka, the sickness has gradually made her deform in her body, lamenting that her morbidity is becoming very difficult.

To this end, she lamented that she has no money to perform the surgery, hence she is appealing to corporate institutions, philanthropists, and individuals to support her financially to undergo the surgery if not she will die.
